BLORA. Peringatan Hari Pangan Sedunia (HPS) ke 38 tingkat Jawa Tengah di Blora akhirnya ditutup pada Minggu (28/10/2018) di Alun-alun. Dalam penutupan itu, Pemprov Jawa Tengah yang diwakili oleh Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan (Dishanpan) Jateng, Ir. Suryo Banendro, MP menilai bahwa Blora telah sukses menjadi tuan rumah.

“Sejak dibuka oleh Pak Gubernur pada Jumat lalu, pengunjung pamerannya tak terhingga. Saya selama tiga hari terus mengontrol pelaksanaan acara ini. Tak hanya banyak pengunjungnya, namun hiburannya juga beragam dan meriah. Terlebih semalam (kemarin-red) ada fashion show batiknya juga. Blora luar biasa, dan ini adalah peringatan HPS yang terbaik sepanjang sejarah di Jawa Tengah,” ungkap Ir. Suryo Banendro, MP disambut tepuk tangan para undangan.

Pujian itu menurut Suryo Banendro juga datang dari para peserta pameran perwakilan 35 Kabupaten/Kota se Jawa Tengah. Mereka yang tadinya belum pernah ke Blora berpandangan kalau Blora itu kering, ternyata sampai sini diguyur hujan dan banyak potensi Blora yang dipamerkan.

“Kesuksesan ini semakin mempererat hubungan Pemkab Blora dengan Pemprov Jawa Tengah. Meskipun dilaksanakan di Blora ternyata penontonnya datang dari seluruh wilayah Jawa Tengah bahkan hingga luar negeri dengan melihat media sosial, khususnya twitter dan instagram. Terimakasih Blora,” pungkas Suryo Banendro.

Dengan suksesnya penyelenggaraan ini, pihaknya kembali mengingatkan kepada masyarakat untuk terus mengampanyekan konsumsi bahan pangan lokal. Karena masih banyak warga, khususnya anak-anak generasi muda belum tahu potensi makanan lokal yang tinggi gizi dan menyehatkan.

Bupati Djoko Nugroho sendiri merasa senang dan bangga saat menutup kegiatan HPS kemarin dan berharap ini menjadi penyemangat warga masyarakat Blora untuk lebih baik lagi pada event-event selanjutnya.

“Terimakasih kepada semua pihak yang telah mendukung kesuksesan rangkaian acara HPS hingga selesai. Ini prestasi kita bersama untuk Blora dan Jawa Tengah. Ayo bersama-sama membangun dan mengelola potensi pangan lokal kita,” ujar Bupati.

Turut hadir dalam cara penutupan, diantaranya Sekda, Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Blora, perwakilan OPD terkait se Jawa Tengah dan para pemenang lomba.

Acara penutupan diakhiri dengan penyerahan berbagai piala dan piagam penghargaan kepada para pemenang aneka lomba yang telah dilaksanakan dalam rangkaian HPS ke 38 itu. Diantaranya :
