BLORA. Terasa manis legit dan berwarna kuning layaknya kunir, durian varietas lokal dari Desa Kacangan Kecamatan Todanan dinobatkan sebagai juara pertama Festival Durian Lokal Blora 2018 yang dilaksanakan di BLOK S Kecamatan Jepon, Selasa (20/2/2018).

Afrizal, salah satu juri dari BPTP Jawa Tengah mengakui selain rasa dan warna, ketebalan dan bentuk buah Durian Pancur dari Desa Kacangan milik Pak Yudi tersebut memiliki nilai lebih jika dibandingkan dengan buah durian lainnya yang dilombakan.

“Rasanya lebih enak. Rasa ini bobotnya 30 persen. Sisanya kita nilai dari segi bentuk buah, ketebalan daging, kecilnya biji dan aroma. Setelah dikalkulasi kita peroleh juara satunya durian dari Desa Kacangan ini. Durian yang menang ini akan kita usulkan ke Jakarta agar bisa ditetapkan sebagai durian varietas lokal khas Blora,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu untuk juara kedua dan ketiga diraih oleh jenis durian lokal dari Desa Karangjong, Kecamatan Ngawen. Masing-masing pemenang diberikan hadiah jutaan rupiah sebagai uang pembinaan pengembangan durian dan menerima bibit buah unggul dari Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan.

Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Kab.Blora, Ir.Reni Miharti menjelaskan bahwa luas kebun durian di Blora tahun ini sudah mencapai lebih dari 50 hektare.

“Kebunnya ada di Tunjungan, Todanan, Japah, Ngawen, Kunduran, kemudian Jepon di Desa Soko juga ada. Ini kita lombakan varietas lokalnya sehingga yang menang nanti akan dikembangkan menjadi buah durian lokal unggulan Blora. Yang mengikuti lomba atau festival ada 20 peserta dari enam kecamatan,” paparnya.

Adapun pemenang Festival Durian Varietas Lokal Kabupaten Blora tahun 2018 adalah

Juara Pertama Durian Pancur milik Yudi dari Desa Kacangan Kecamatan Todanan dengan nilai 76
Juara Kedua Durian Mrico milik Suwignyo dari Desa Karangjong Kecamatan Ngawen dengan nilai 72
Juara Ketiga Durian Komet milik Harsono dari Desa Karangjong Kecamatan Ngawen dengan nilai 67
Juara Favorit Durian milik Pak Pribadi dari Kecamatan Japah

“Yang menang nanti akan kita kirim untuk mengikuti lomba Durian tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah di Solo, 3-4 Maret mendatang,” pungkas Reni Miharti.
