Peningkatan Produktifitas Pertanian, Pemkab Usulkan Bangun 4 Embung Besar

BLORA. Produktifitas pertanian di wilayah Blora Selatan yang rendah karena minimnya ketersediaan air irigasi saat kemarau dan hanya mengandalkan tadah hujan, membuat Pemkab Blora merencanakan pembangunan embung-embung besar.

Untuk mewujudkannya, Bupati Blora bersama Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) terkait mencoba menyusun proposal pembangunan embung untuk diajukan ke Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Bengawan Solo (BS) yang membidangi pembangunan infrastruktur Sumber Daya Air (SDA) di Blora Selatan.

Kamis (19/10/2017) kemarin, proposal itu disampaikan Bupati Blora Djoko Nugroho secara langsung kepada Kepala BBWS BS di kantornya dengan didampingi Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Ir. Samgautama Karnajaya MT, Kepala Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) Ir. Sutikno Slamet, dan Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Ir. Reni Miharti M.Agr.Bus.

Setibanya disana, Bupati dan rombongan diterima langsung oleh Kepala BBWS Bengawan Solo Ir. Charisal Akdian Manu M.Si bersama jajarannya di ruang rapat untuk bersilahturahmi dan memberikan paparan pengajuan pembangunan infrastruktur Sumber Daya Air di Kabupaten Blora.

Menurut Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Ir. Samgautama Karnajaya MT, kedatangan Bupati dan rombongan ke BBWS Bengawan Solo adalah untuk memberikan paparan pengajuan pembangunan embung di wilayah Blora Selatan sebagai upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan air irigasi dan air baku penunjang peningkatan produksi pertanian.

“Wilayah Blora Selatan, khususnya Kecamatan Randublatung dan Kecamatan Jati saat kemarau selalu mengalami kekeringan. Banyak lahan pertanian yang nganggur karena hanya mengandalkan tadah hujan. Dengan pengajuan pembangunan embung ini, Bupati berharap BBWS Bengawan Solo yang memiliki wilayah kerja di Blora Selatan bisa membantu pembangunan beberapa embung,” ucap Samgautama, Jumat (20/10/2017).

Adapun rencana pembangunan embung yang dipaparkan Bupati menurut Samgautama sebanyak 10 unit, hasil pengajuan dari desa. Tanah yang digunakan untuk membangun embung adalah tanah bengkok desa. Diantaranya adalah Embung Randublatung, Embung Pilang, Embung Temulus, Embung Gabusan, Embung Kutukan, Embung Giyanti, Embung Cabean, Embung Ngliron, Embung Sogo, dan Embung Plosorejo.

“Dari sepuluh embung itu, yang kita prioritaskan ada empat embung, yakni Embung Randublatung, Embung Pilang, Embung Temulus dan Embung Gabusan. Alhamdulillah paparan Pak Bupati mendapatkan respon positif dari Kepala BBWS Bengawan Solo. Proposal langsung diserahkan Pak Bupati kepada Kepala BBWS Bengawan Solo,” lanjutnya.

Samgautama yang juga mantan Kepala Bappeda ini mengatakan bahwa pada hari Senin mendatang Kepala BBWS Bengawan Solo akan datang ke Kabupaten Blora untuk menunjau kondisi lapangan atau lokasi pembangunan embung, sebagai bahan untuk dilaporkan ke Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR).

“Pak Bupati rencananya juga akan ikut ke Kementerian PUPR untuk mengawal ajuan pengusulan pembangunan ini. Mohon doanya saja semoga perjuangan Pak Bupati bersama tim bisa disetujui kementerian dan bisa direalisasikan di tahun 2018,” pungkasnya. (humaskab | jo-ib)
